Canby City Council
Tim Dale
My family moved to Canby in 1900, but I grew up in the country between Oregon City and Canby. I attended Canby schools for all 12 years, (13 if you count kindergarten with Betty Postlewaite), and graduated from Canby Union High School. After that, I studied computer science at PSU, artificial intelligence at Oregon Graduate Institute, and business administration at Warner Pacific College. My entire career has been in hi-tech product development, which means I’m a computer nerd.
I have been married to my church youth group sweetheart Deb for 34 years. We have two daughters and a goofy golden retriever, and have lived in Canby for 14 years.
I have been on Canby City Council since 2011, serving the last three years as its president, and as chair of the Urban Renewal Agency and chair of the City Budget Committee.
